Multi-Site Management

The Multi-Site Management module allows companies with multiple production facilities to run separate production facilities while still consolidating financials. Some companies with multiple sites may prefer to centralize most business functions, only separating production functions. Others may prefer to run their sites completely separately and consolidate financials at month- or quarter-end. Vantage allows both these scenarios within one module, and is flexible enough to grow with you.

Production Sites
Separate sites are provided with visibility to their respective work centers, inventory levels and jobs.

Centralized Business Processes
Vantage support centralized accounting and purchasing while still allowing separation of production facilities.

Virtual Plant Support
Single sites with multiple production lines can be divided into multiple sites for virtual plants.

Distinct Scheduling Functions
Often each production facility has its own production planner and scheduler. With Multi-Plant Management the scheduler can view jobs for one plant or all plants depending on security.

Unique Accounts
Each plant and company are set up with individual accounts including inter-company elimination accounts.

Shared Warehouses
Plants may share one or more warehouses to reflect the way companies actually do business.

Financial Consolidation
Multi-company consolidation can be set up between any companies within the Vantage database. Financial roll-ups can even be done with companies outside Vantage.

Unlimited Hierarchy
The parent-child relationships between companies are defined in an unlimited hierarchy. Each company can have a parent company which also may have another parent company and so on.

Multiple Currency
Financial consolidations are supported in any currency. Each company in the hierarchy has its own currency and the top level corporation may have a different currency not shared with any other company.

Inter-Company Eliminations
With frequent mergers and acquisitions, often the general ledger account structure between parent and child companies is not the same. Map accounts between companies for smooth inter-company eliminations.

Subcomponent Security
Each user is authorized to view only information about specific companies to which he has access.

Integration
Multi-Site Management is fully integrated with the Inventory Management, Job Management, Material Requirements Planning and Financial modules.
