Data Collection is an easy-to-use, online system that allows labor and inventory transactions to be entered at the time that work is being done on the shop floor. Transaction entry is straightforward and rapid with the use of touch-screen, light-pen or bar code technology.
The Data Collection System will be valuable to you in many ways. It ensures accurate labor reporting, a vital concern in Job Costing and Job Status. Labor transactions are posted efficiently, on-line, and in real-time, eliminating costly, time-consuming and often inaccurate manual time card entry. On-line transaction tracking gives management a current picture of what is occurring on the shop floor, both by employee and by job.
Also, integration with Job Management eliminates dual entry, and integration with Vantage Scheduling provides online, real-time views of the latest shop floor scheduling priorities. In addition, integrated multimedia with Data Collection incorporates scanned images, a CAD/CAM interface and even video operating instructions.
